Climbing

listen
You learn to trust in the one,
who holds your rope
at the other side.

You must believe, he doesn’t make mistakes
and hold is it with dignity.

Reaching the top you hear:
toss yourself from the wall.
What you grabbed with your hand and foot –
now let off.

It’s hard to believe,
that the rope will hold me
and it won’t break away.
You don’t have to fear.
Decide not to insist on the wall,
the rope or any supplies,
but you trust on him yourself.

If Jesus holds your rope,
you are in good hands.
